Lot Attendant/Service Valet

Acura of Glendale is looking for candidates who have great attitudes, a strong work ethic, and clean driving records. We have 2 positions to fill.

You will shuttle our customer's vehicles, wash vehicles, provide assistance to our staff and customers, run various errands and when LA County Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, shuttle our customers to and from the dealership while keeping the planned schedule. You must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Full Time Hours:
Mon-Sat 8am-5pm, off one weekday
OR
Mon-Sat 11-8, Sun 12-6, Off Wed/Thurs.

Acura Service Technician

Acura of Glendale is a well-established, family-owned dealership. We need a qualified Acura/Honda technician with dealership experience to work with our strong, loyal customer base.

Job duties include (but not limited to):

  • Perform quality maintenance and repair work
  • Complete system diagnostics, troubleshooting and testing
  • Document work performed on the repair order
  • Communicate with service and parts staff
  • Road-test to ensure work is complete
  • Comply with all our company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications required:

  • 3 or more years of previous experience as an automotive technician
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • A valid California Driver's License
  • Technical aptitude displayed by certification, school or Honda/Acura factory training

Parts Driver

As a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership in a friendly, safe and efficient manner.  This role is a great entry point for an excellent driver who thrives on providing an exceptional customer experience.

Job Duties Include (but not exclusive):
  • Safely drive a company vehicle to complete timely tasks
  • Pickup, deliver, and unload supplies and parts from auto parts stores, other dealerships, independent repair facilities, and body shops.
  • Keep organized and detailed records of invoices, log daily deliveries, request signatures as needed and obtain customer payment.
  • Keep inventory organized and replenished at all times.
  • Notify the Parts Manager of logistics issues and if delivery vehicle needs major repairs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance, like filling gas, checking oil and general housekeeping in our parts department.
  • Assist the service department with other duties like managing the drop off and pick up of clients' cars.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving
  • Direct stocking of bins with parts and accessories
  • Verify incoming shipments of parts/supplies using packing slips and invoices.
  • Prepare parts invoices, check parts issued
  • Promote sales of Parts & Accessories with customers - spend time looking for new business.
  • handle telephone inquires
  • Great clients, handle client complaints
What You'll Need:
  • Full-time availability
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Excellent follow up skills, frequently communicating with the Parts Mgr and team.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and friendly appearance
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Automotive technical knowledge

Product Knowledge Specialist

compensation:Hourly pay plus bonus
employment type: full-time 

We need Acura Product Knowledge Specialists to assist our clients with their new vehicles. You will assist our Sales and Service Teams when clients have questions on any of our Acura models. We're looking for candidates who have great attitudes, a strong work ethic, and clean driving records. Bi-lingual abilities are a benefit in our diverse community. Hours include nights and weekends.

Some of the daily tasks you will be asked to complete: 
Become an Expert on the Acura product, 
Present features and benefits to clients,
Take demonstration drives with clients, 
Assist in locating vehicles, 
Deliver and ensure each customer has every question answered. 
Some administrative work to assist Managers with phone calls, email, mail, 
Computer skills a plus.
